Sasol handover sanitisers to Wentworth Community

Sasol Limited

19 August 2020

Durban, South Africa – Sasol today donated 2000 litres of hand sanitisers to Wentworth Community. This donation is aimed at providing support in a fight against the spread of COVID-19.

Tashin Singh, the Sasol Satellite Operations senior said they recognise the impact COVID-19 has had on business, employees and community at large. “We have ramped up our support by providing hand sanitizer, gloves, masks and soaps to hospitals, clinics and taxi associations. Over the past months, we delivered sanitizers, gloves, masks and soaps to various municipalities in KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng, Northwest and Mpumalanga and to Mozambique.”

Today, we are contributing 2,000 litres of hand sanitiser to Wentworth Community via Wentworth community organisations identified with the help of South Durban Basin Community Development Trust. We believe by working together we will have a fighting chance against the spread of Covid-19 and support the Government initiatives of flattening the curve.
